Founded by artisans rooted in Bat Trang, Bacera has years of experience in crafting, selling, and exporting high-quality handmade ceramics to markets around the world.

Through this journey, Bacera realized that ceramics are more than just products – they are experiences. The feeling of touching clay, the moment the wheel spins, and the joy of creating something with your own hands. From this realization, the idea of a professional pottery experience space was born.

Why Was Bacera Class Created?

While Bat Trang offers some pottery workshops, its location outside Hanoi’s city center makes it less accessible—especially for tourists or visitors with limited time. A trip to Bat Trang often takes 45 minutes to over an hour each way, which can be inconvenient.

At the same time, there are pottery classes available in Hanoi. However, Bacera identified several limitations in the current offerings:

• Workshop spaces often lack organization and aesthetic appeal
• Facilities are not well-equipped (no air conditioning, poor lighting, limited comfort)
• A lack of professional instructors from traditional craft backgrounds
• Services are not standardized, and the overall experience lacks emotional connection

As a result, pottery experiences in Hanoi have not yet reached their full potential.
